• U.S. Pacific West Coast Region
  - This internet mapping site includes an index to 36 GLORIA sidescan sonar mosaics collected and processed by the USGS in 1984.  In addition to the broad overview data, multibeam backscatter images for several smaller, coastal mapping surveys for the Gulf of Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, San Francisco Bay, Channel Islands, Los Angeles Margin, San Diego Margin and Puget Sound Region are also available for viewing.

• GLORIA Mapping Program
  - This internet mapping site includes GLORIA (Geologic LOng-Range Inclined Asdic) sidescan imagery of the entire deep-water portion (more than 200 meters) of the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) mapped during the 8 years of data collection. The images are from each of the geographic areas covered: East Coast, Gulf of Mexico, Puerto Rico, West Coast, Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands, Gulf of Alaska, Hawaiian Ridge, Johnston Island, Kingman Reef and Palmyra Atoll. These data have been released via GLORIA Sidescan-Sonar Imagery for Parts of the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone and Adjacent Areas (USGS Open File Report 2010-1332).

The Internet Map Server sites are html and javascript applications built using a modified version of the ESRI IMS Viewer. You will need to enable Active Scripting for your browser for the map viewer to work properly.

• Sediment Studies in Lake Mead - selected data layers collected during detailed geophysical mapping of the floor of Lake Mead from 1999-2001. Major focus of the program was to study the geology of the lake floor, measuring sediment accumulation and the studying the distribution of sediment associated pollutants. Data are released in USGS Open-File Report 03-320. These datasets and derived products are intended to serve as base maps for other geological and geochemical studies of the lake.

•  Geophysical Surveys of Bear Lake - This Internet Map Server (IMS) site contains various data layers collected during geophysical surveys of the lake during September 2002. Data include a complete sidescan sonar mosaic of the lake, a detailed bathymetric image, bathymetry contours, seismic navigation tracklines with links to reduced seismic images, and the location of grab samples with links to grab sample images.
